Rimmel London Stay Matte Review
Hi guys!! This is just a small review on a new foundation I have recently purchased, as most of you know I have such oily skin so it's really hard for me when choosing the right foundation, and at age 18 I still haven't found the one, well up until now. 😁👑
My foundation previously was running out so I was using the pump tube to scrape out the excess foundation off the sides so I decided when I was to buy a new foundation, that it would be a different one, I always mix my foundations when I run out, I'm not sure if that's good for my skin or bad, but I do because I feel like I'm missing out if I buy the same one.
I went to Tesco after work (sorry co op) and went to look at the make up, I love Rimmel London products so I went to their stand first.
I wanted a matte foundation to try and hide my oily skin, I picked up Rimmel London stay matte in the shade ivory 103, it was the lightest shade there as I am Irish and my skin is as white as the background of this page, the foundation was around £5.99 for a small tube, I thought it was a bit pricy but the beauty section was closed off and this lady was watching me so I picked it up and went straight to the tills.
When I got home I tried it on, when I applied it onto the back of my hand I thought it looked a bit too thick and I was worried that I put too much on, but no, I used my expert face brush by Real Techniques to apply it, it went on really well, but the shade was slightly dark for my skin but I can't moan it was the lightest shade there, I have been using it for three days now and I do have to say it is an amazing foundation, for a small tube I feel like it can go a long way, I must get the primer that goes with it and maybe it might look better💕
If anyone has oily skin and is looking for a matte foundation then I recommend this one to you, I'm not saying it will be amazing for you because everyone is different, but it's worth a try!! If you have any other foundations that you use for oily skin please let me know! Xxxxxxx
