Surprise chocolate orange hot chocolate!

Along with sooooo many people, I LOVE HOT CHOCOLATE! I have tried a lot of different hot chocolates over the years and I have found out that I prefer making my own and adding my own little twists.
The one I have made tonight is chocolate orange flavoured, I used terry's chocolate orange pieces with popping candy!

First step is to measure how much milk you will need by pouring it into your mug. Once you have done this, pour the milk into the saucepan and heat. Add in two tea spoons on cocoa powder and stir. (I used Cadbury's hot chocolate powder) Once the chocolate milk is getting warmer, it's time to add in the chocolate orange pieces. Try to break them into smaller pieces so they melt quicker.
This part is my fave because you can hear the candy popping. I then like to add in a sprinkle of cinnamon and one tea spoon of sugar (Just because all this chocolate isn't sweet enough!) Whisk all the mixture together till it's hot (try not to over heat it as the milk will burn). Now it's ready and time to remove from the heat.
Pour the mixture into your mug and decorate with a sprinkle of cinnamon and cocoa powder. You can even put some whipped cream on top!

So here is what you need.

1) A mug (mug's if you're making more)
2) Milk (measure your amount by filling up your mugs)
3) A small to medium saucepan
4) Terry's chocolate orange (popping candy version)
5) Cinnamon powder
6) Sugar
7) Cocoa powder
8) Hand whisk
