Wedfest of the year

This year I was honoured to be invited to a friends wedding. It wasn't just an ordinary wedding, it was a WEDFEST! A festival themed wedding! A weekend away camping at a beautiful farm in Shrewsbury! I didn't stay the whole weekend as I'm not very well but the whole time I was there I had a ball!

The wedding was held at Stanford farm, it was the most beautiful and unique venue I have ever seen, and was a perfect match for the Mrs  & Mrs! It suited them so much!

We arrived on the Friday around 5:30pm, pitched up our tents and ordered pizza from dominos and listened to a beautiful singer! She was amazing, and couldn't believe she only turned 18 last week!

On the Saturday, was the actual wedding, we were up at 6:30am! (Oh the joys of camping)! Some of the ladies I was with made us all sausage baps and we then chilled for the rest of the morning. We then started to get ready around half 11/12pm.

Both brides looked absolutely amazing! And so did their two bridesmaids, two flower girls and page boys! After the ceremony we all had photos and then it was time to enter the party room! We had a hog roast which was to die for! Roast pork baps with crackling, apple sauce, stuffing and gravy!

There was a live singer who sang everyone's favourite songs whilst playing the guitar. Later that evening after the speeches, first dance (which was epic, well done Kiki and Dowd!) it was time for a lot of dancing! We had another live band play which added the perfect touch.

I have to say this had to be the best wedding that I have ever been to, it was so unique and well planned, both brides looked immensely happy whenever you seen them!

Congratulations Mrs & Mrs Dowd xxx
