November favourites

OK, So I know that we are still in November so there is still time to add to my November favourite list.. BUT, with Christmas just around the corner I am refusing to buy myself any more make up, skincare, hair and body products, I NEEEEED TO SAVE MY MONEY!
I thought, what the hell, i'll share them with you now.
If you also click on each subtitle, it will take you to a website that you can purchase each item from.

1) MAC Studio Fix Foundation
A few weeks ago I needed a new foundation, I was sick of wearing my drugstore one, although my Rimmel London has never failed me, it was time to say goodbye (for now). I knew I wanted to try whats classed as a ''high end'' foundation and I have always loved MAC make up. To be honest I didn't have a clue which one I wanted so I went into the MAC counter in Debenhams to get help.
The girl at the counter helped me match my skin tone which was NW13 and it matches my skin perfectly! I also have really oily skin so I thought it was best that I went for the Studio Fix as it is quite matte and luckily it has been working great with my skin and no oil has been sneaking through!
2) Benefit Hoola Bronzer
I have RAVED about this bronzer so much in the past. My friend bought me it for my 19th birthday last year and since then I haven't left it alone. Although I dropped it and it cracked so I went onto using my Bobbi Brown bronzer which is just as good.
In this months Birchbox each subscriber had a mini Hoola bronzer which is super generous. So I have fallen in love with it all over again.
3) NYX Matte Setting Spray
Considering were getting into winter and everyone goes for more of a matte look, I thought that I would swap my NYX dewy setting spray, for the matte one. Since my oily skin has been wayyyyy too oily recently, I thought it was a good idea and I was right!
It makes my foundation stay matte ALL DAY yet doesn't make my face feel really dry. My make up stays put throughout the day and does not budge. You cannot go wrong for £7.
4) No7 Foundation Brush
Foundation brushes have always been a bit of a hit and miss with me. When I first started wearing make up I would always use a brush but I found that the foundation never looked right on my skin. I switched to the beauty blender which made my foundation look really nice but since I have been using my new mac foundation, I wanted to change to a brush as I found that most of the foundation gets trapped in a beauty blender.
I found a No7 foundation brush that I had for Christmas a few years back and since then I haven't stopped using it. It works really good with the foundation!
5) NYX Eyebrow Gel
This product as a whole is new to me. I have never actually used an eyebrow gel from a tube before. I have used ones that you brush on with a ''spoolie brush'' but gel in a tube that you apply with an angled eyebrow brush? Totally new.
The shade I chose was brunette. Although I am blonde, I like my brows to be quite darker than what other blonde haired people would usually go for. The product works really well, dries quick and is easy to apply. A little goes a long way so this will last me a very long time. (If I don't lose it)
6) Maybelline Lash Sensational Mascara
I seen Zoella rave about this product on one of her recent videos. I am not very up to date with mascara as I usually stick to the same ones so I have no idea what is trending at the moment.
My soap and glory one has completely dried up and my KIKO one is so difficult to remove.
I popped into boots and picked this Maybelline one up and hoped for the best and my god it is the best thing since sliced bread. My lashes are quite rubbish, they're short. BUT, this mascara adds what feels like 10cm onto my lashes! It doesn't transfer to under my eyes either and it comes off straight away with make up remover.
7) Topshop Highlighter
Ok, so I never knew until recently that Topshop did make up until I went into TKMax. I was looking for a new highlighter and I came across this Topshop one in the shade Mother of Pearl. The colours are stunning, The highlighter looks gold but it also has a kind of pink pigmentation to it!
8) Lush Cupcake Face Mask
As you know my skin has been giving me so much grief the past few months and I have been looking for different ways to improve it. A few girls on the Beautyship recommended the Lush face masks, so I picked up the cupcake which is for oily and teenage skin. To be fair it has reduced my spots, oil and redness a lot! It smells like chocolate as well which is a bonus!
9) Rimmel London Translucent Powder
I LOVE THIS PRODUCT! I appreciate how it doesn't make my make up look cakey and patchy when I apply it. It makes my foundation look matte all day, I would definitely compare this to any high end powder any day. I am pretty sure that Rimmel do a setting spray to go with it too.
10) Marc Jacobs Decadence Perfume
My Nan and Grandad bought me this from the airport in September and since then I have been wearing it everyday. It smells sooooo good and lasts all day too. The packaging is super cute as it is like a little green hand bag with a handle! Well done for creativity Marc Jacobs!

  1. I've really wanted to try that NYX Setting Spray but because I have combination skin I have always been a bit afraid that it would make my skin a bit dry even though it's also oily. Do you think it would still suit me?

    1. I would probably recommend the NYX Dewy setting spray! Although the matte version doesn't make your skin feel dry but the dewy one gives off such a lovely finish xx
